Geeky Troll: Scheduler

Introduction

This tutorial will cover a somehow, hidden tools on Microsoft Operating System (Hidden in a way that most users don't know about it), it's called Task Scheduler.

Step 1: Go to Run and type "Task Scheduler"

Step 2: Click "Create Basic Task"

Step 3: 
Type anything in the name then click "Next"
Choose "When Computer Starts"
Choose "Start a program"
Now browse for the browser he is using like firefox or chrome (shortcut in the desktop will do)
In the "Add Arguments" type any website you want

That's it!

Whenever his/her computer starts his computer will open that website.

You can also try to experiment with this trick like instead of "When computer starts" set it at 12:00 in the evening then open a scary website, if he's already browsing the internet it will be opened as a new tab which is scarier.

Introduction

Trolling or simply annoying some people using jokes and pranks. Well you cannot complete your trolling experience without using one of the most used device in the world, the computer. But I will show simple tricks and those tricks that cannot harm someones PC.

Okay Let's start

The shutdown prank

This prank will simply shutdown and display a message when a user clicked the shortcut/program.

Step 1: Right-click in your desktop and Click New--Shortcut

Step 2: Type "Shutdown -s -t 100 -c "Trojan Horse Activated"

Note: -t 100 means that in 100 seconds the computer will shutdown (change it for more fun)

-c "Trojan Horse Activate" will display the text inside the "" when they clicked it.

Click next then finish

But that doesn't look convincing right?

Now let's pick a software in the desktop to follow. 

In this tutorial i'll choose chrome because it is a frequently used software.

Step 3: Now Right-Click the software you want to copy and click "Properties" Then "Change Icon"

Copy the link you see above

Step 4: Now do the same with the shortcut you created, Right-Click it, Choose "Properties"--"Change Icon". Paste the path you copied recently to the path now and hit Enter.

You'll now see the icons of Google Chrome, Choose the appropriate Icon then click ok then apply.

Just rename your shutdown.exe icon then delete/hide the google chrome original icon.

Rainbow Rainbow in the sky

A colorful arc of colors in the sky that symbolizes hope and beauty, rainbow, legend says that there is a pot of gold in the end of a rainbow but that's just a myth. Well in reality a rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky, the color is formed because of the moisture in the air where it reflect and refract.

When can you see a rainbow?

Well mostly after a rain, but that's not the deal, a rainbow can occur when there are water drops in the air and sunlight shining from behind. Water drops mostly occur after a rain that's why rainbow usually appear after a rainbow.

Colors of rainbow

In 1672 Newton named five colors of the rainbow (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet), he later included two more colors (Orange and Indigo). But the truth is that a rainbow is composed of the entire spectrum of colors and not only that, it also include impossible colors (colors that we can't see such as red-green).

Other types of rainbow

Multiple Rainbow

Multiple or Double rainbow are caused by double reflection of sunlight inside the raindrops. Most people usually can't see them because they are fainter than the primary bow. The second bow has an inverted color (picture above).

Monochrome Rainbow

Occasionally a shower may happen at sunrise or sunset, where the shorter wavelengths like blue and green have been scattered and essentially removed from the spectrum. Further scattering may occur due to the rain, and the result can be the rare and dramatic monochrome rainbow.

Reflected Rainbow

When a rainbow appears above a body of water, two complementary mirror bows may be seen below and above the horizon, originating from different light paths. Their names are slightly different. A reflected rainbow will appear as a mirror image in the water surface below the horizon, if the surface is quiet (see photo above).

Fire Rainbow

Fire Rainbows are not rainbow or fire, they are "Halo" but mostly known as a rainbow because of its color.

Into the light (Short Story)

TITLE: Into the Light
WRITTEN: 5th, December 1998
AUTHOR: Frances Novelle David


She has suffered long enough. She finally finds her way into the light.

CERISE sat on her bed with her knees pulled up to her chest. Upon her knees rest a book where she placed a piece of blank paper; pen poised upon the smooth surface. The scratching sound of pen against paper sounded faintly as she wrote the first few sentences of her letter only to crumple it and tossed it into the overflowing bin where it joined the other rejects. She let out a deep breath she wasn't aware she was holding and stretched her legs as she lay down. She closed her eyes and regretted it almost immediately as unwanted memories played like a silent movie in the darkness.



The first scene was that of the day she was born. It was not her own memory, of course but one conjured from her father's stories.

Her Mom was sitting on a hospital bed, cradling her to her chest. The older woman smiled down to her beautiful baby as she cooed, "Cerise," while pecking the baby's red lips and rosy cheeks. She had just named her. Cerise. Cherry.

The scene blurred and changed into another one. Fifteen years after the first scene. Ah, this one, sadly, was from her own memory. There was no way she could deny it happened.

It was one of those nights. Daddy was out the whole week on a seminar somewhere out of town and Mommy was late as usual, spending too many hours at work. It was almost midnight and she had decided to sleep when she heard the front door open and Mommy's hushed giggling reached her ears followed by a male voice she did not recognize. She stiffened when giggles became moans and thinking that the man might be hurting Mommy, she tip-toed out of her room to check. But she froze upon reaching the top of the staircase. Mommy was pushed against the wall, her arms around the man who was certainly not Daddy while they kissed. She may be young but she wasn't stupid. She covered her mouth with her hands but a whimper escaped her lips. Two heads snapped towards her in unison, eyes wide.

"Hunny," Mommy called out to her - for the first time in ages using an endearment again. For years Mommy treated her as though she didn't exist and now, in the most awkward of circumstances did she choose to acknowledge her daughter's existence again.

Mommy ran up the stairs and enveloped Cerise in her arms but she swatted them away while tears rolled freely down her face. There was a struggle as Mommy tried again and again to touch her whilst she refused to relent. Alas, Cerise's left foot slipped and she fell. The last thing she could remember was a blinding pain in her head before darkness took her.

Like the first one, this scene faded and changed into a new one. It was some time after that fateful night. She woke up in her room with a headache and it took her a few moments to remember what had caused it. She was not sure how long she had been unconscious but she was just glad to still be alive. Then she heard voices. Mommy and Daddy were fighting. She heard Daddy yelling, "It's all your fault!" over and over again while Mommy wailed like a hog being slaughtered. Wincing, she got out of bed and went out of her room. She got downstairs just in time to see Daddy leaving. She ran to him and begged him to stay but it was like he didn't hear her at all. Cerise sobbed helplessly as Daddy's car drove away. Mommy had stopped crying and went to her room, locking herself up. The next day she woke up early, dressed and left for work. She didn't even bother to say bye. So Cerise went to the kitchen and prepared herself some food. It went on like that for two years. Mommy treated her daughter like a ghost. It was like they were in the same place but not in the same dimension.

But tonight, it had to stop. She grabbed her pen and wrote on a fresh piece of paper, "Goodbye, Mommy. I love you." She folded the paper as she left her room and entered Mommy's quietly then placed the note on the bedside table, kissed Mommy softly on her forehead, and went downstairs to the front door.

She pulled it open and a bright light greeted her. She had no idea what it was but she felt like she should step through the door and straight into the light. She did and closed the door behind her.

Life of a Gamer

Warning: This is an opinionated post about my personal experience about gaming, you're free to give your reaction but what you will read here is my true experience and opinion about the advantage and disadvantage of a gamer.

Introduction

Console and PC gaming is one of the most popular hobby today, gamers are not just male or teens now, the number of female gamers are increasing gradually. Most non-gamers see this kind of hobby as a useless thing to do, a waste of time and will bring no good to an individual. But if we just look at the brighter side we can see lots of benefits from this hobby (but in moderate state).



Socialization

Most people say that gamers don't have social life, well that's true for gamers staying in their house and playing non-stop there, but there are type of gamers that uses LAN connected to play with other or other engine to connect online, this team play usually consist of a good team, and that team is composed of members that know each other personally and will play as a whole (physically) so they gather in a certain location and go to other towns to compete the best players there.

Teamwork

Most gamers know how to value their friends, because they experienced on the game they played that you need trusted friends to win or dominate in a game. That's why even in a non-game situation they can call their play mates to gather and unite for a common goal, like what happen in a contest, all of those 200+ gamers united to help their fellow mates to win a contest even though they don't really know each other personally or in real life.

Patience

This is a very important trait or a gamer, those who succeed in most strategy games requires high patience, that's why those players who can't wait usually die and they do not improve their gaming skills.

Strategy

Strategy is a vital skill that every gamers must possess, without strategy you can't win any game (except for hacked game or luck-based game). That's why gamers can easily think of an strategy for a real-life situation than non-gamers (most of the time).

Fast-Thinking

Games like Starcraft, DotA and FPS games requires fast strategy, and you need to think and react faster than a second in order to win a surprise attack, and most professional gamers got this, when they saw an enemy they need to decide quickly whether to attack, wait for some moments or to flee.

Stress Free

Well this is a fact that all of us can't deny, gamers have more peaceful mind (specially if they win), that's why this is called a "hobby" it means we enjoy doing this thing, and doing the things you enjoy will definitely erase your stress in life.

Personal Experience: During my HS years I usually have a hard time to decide faster, that's why I used DotA to train myself to create a strategic decision in the shortest time possible. In just a year of playing the game I noticed that my decision making skills improved dramatically. I also played tribalwars (my most favorite game), from that game I learned how to read people's mind and next move, I learned how to cooperate and to lead a group of people and how to get along with them properly (specially we are from different parts of the world) and I can say that even today I still use the benefits of playing computer games. But still, if you play too much it might get along with your real life, remember that games are meant to be played, it wasn't meant to play you.

The 101 Guide to use torrent

Introduction

Most of us already heard about "Torrent", using torrent to download a file is the easiest and most convenient way to download a file, there is no "interrupted download" with torrent, because you download a file piece by piece and when you shutdown your PC you can still resume it the next time you open it, it's also easier to find a software,movie,song or other files (legal or illegal). But many people don't know how to use this amazing software, in this article I will teach you how to use it.

Downloading the software
Bittorrent: http://www.bittorrent.com/downloads/
Utorrent: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/complete?os=mac

You need to download the software first, there are different torrent engines (I prefer uTorrent), so you can use whatever you want.

Looking for a torrent file

Now that you have a software to download a torrent file, the next thing we will do is to find what to download, in this tutorial we will download a Men in Black 3 movie.

First search for something you want to download and add a "Torrent" in it, in this case this are the top results for that torrent, try to download a torrent file on trusted sites like thepiratebay, isohunt and other sites.

Choosing the best torrent:

When choosing what torrent file to download we must consider some factors.

1. Video Quality (For movies): Quality copy of newly released movies are hard to find because there are no DVDRip version yet, so your best shot is to look for a Cam version of the movie and look for the comments about its quality.

2. Seeders and Leechers: This is a very important part of a torrent, a healthy torrent usually has 1,000+ seeders. Seeders are computers that has the complete the file where you can download it, leechers are people who are downloading that file too, so it is good to choose a torrent with 5:1 ratio of seeders and leechers for a fast download.

3. Comment and ratings: Some losers will try to upload a file with binded virus in it, so try to read the comment first if it is a legit copy or if its working or not.

Downloading the torrent:

There are two ways to download a torrent:

Using magnet links: When you click a magnet link (magnet icon or sometimes in text) your torrent engine will open and ask if you want to download it. (Image Below)

Using .torrent file: You can also download the .torrent file, just click the part where it says "Download .torrent" or "Download Torrent" then you'll be prompted to save it, when you finish downloading it you can drag it inside your torrent engine.

Open your file:

When you finish downloading the torrent you can now right-click it (in torrent engine) and click "Open Containing Folder" in this torrent you'll see a .avi file and that is your downloaded file, you can now watch and enjoy it.

Speed Up the download:

To increase the download speed simply click Options -- Preferences -- Bandwidth.

Then change Global maximum number of connections into higher number (5000 for example) also change the "Maximum number of connected peers per torrent to something like 1000.

Note: This will only work if you have a fast internet.

Like/Share for Blasphemy

Whether you're a normal facebook user or a user with Facebook Addiction Disorder we all know this thing, users sharing pictures with text like "Share if you love God/Jesus" or something like that. But we all have a different views and opinion about this kind of post, some says that it is a way of showing you love God some says its a sin and a form of blasphemy. Well for me this is a shameful act as a Christian and an obvious form of blasphemy, but I will not judge something without a proof of my claim.

Meaning

Before I say my full opinion about this issue we must first understand what "blasphemy" means. The word came from the greek word "Blaspheme" which means "To injure reputation", according to Merriam Webster Dictionary blasphemy is the act of claiming the attributes of deity.

My Views and Opinion

Now that we know the meaning of "Blasphemy" is "To injure reputation" (referring to a diety), so it means that if we injure the reputation of Jesus in front of believers and non-believers we already commit blasphemy right?

When you share this kind of pictures and a non-believer saw it you already made him think that you're showing the picture of your diety by means of sharing and liking, and in that way you made him think that your God is a very shallow God that wants share facebook share and like, a website created by an atheist.

Hypocrites

I'm not generalizing everyone here, but some of those who share this kind of pictures are somehow "hypocrites", they share it and say "I love Jesus" but what they do after that? They insult other people, post a pic of their body showing their boobs and other kind of obvious sin then they still say they love their God? How can you love someone who you can't even follow or obey? Or even give some respect? 

"Claiming the attributes of diety"

According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, blasphemy is the act of claiming the attributes of diety.  Referring to the image above where it says "Like if God watches over you", if you like it aren't you claiming that you're 100% sure that God really watches over you? Since none of those who liked it have the permission from God to solicit a liking spree for His name does it proves that they are using the name of God just to gain like and shares? Let me give you an example, a singer has their own Official Fans Club which means that only that club is legally allowed to use his/her name for the sake of promoting that actor. The same with God, unless you have the permission to gather like and share for His name then you are still using His name for personal use and committing blasphemy.

The Reasons

Maybe you might ask me "So what's their reason why they do such shameful act?".First is fame, when you share or like it, other people will see it in their news feed and therefore you just made that page/person famous. Second reason is the Talking About This, this is a facebook page feature that counts every single activity in a page all comments,like,share,questions answered and post are counted as 1 TAT point. The last reason (may not be applicable to everyone) is selling of fan pages, when a certain page reached a reasonable amount of fans and activity (around 100,000) they can sell it for a good price to people with website or blog.

Using the name of God in order to gain fans is the same with putting an advertisement of "Jesus supported this product so buy it."

As a Christian (I'm not a catholic), i'm ashamed with this kind of people sharing this pictures just to show that they love God, if you really love God then act like you really do helping other people is better than sharing those pictures.

Easiest way to solve Rubik's cube

Introduction

I think all of us know about the famous puzzle game "Rubik's Cube", many can solve it but not all, they all say that it is hard to memorize tons of algorithms. In this article I will teach the first algorithm that I learned (from my cousin), this algorithm is composed of 5 patterns only, but first you must know on how to solve the first layer all by yourself.

Just simply drag the side you want to rotate then right-click and hold to change view.

You can see the actual solving of the cube in the last part of this article.

Second Layer

To begin this tutorial first you need to solve the first layer, in this case we will use the white side as our base layer.

Note: The side of the first layer must be the same color, some starters do not solve it in that way.

Find a piece:

To begin solving the second layer you must first find a piece that belongs to the second layer. The piece we are talking about here is a piece that MUST be in the second layer but present in the 3rd layer.

In this case we need to move the blue-orange piece to its destination.

Right-Side

Step 1 (Align):

First align the "piece", the color must be the same with the color in the 2nd layer. In the picture above the blue part can be aligned with the blue center of the 2nd layer.

Note: If the piece is flipped, then you must align it in the orange side.

Step 2 (Move away):

Move the top part away from the "destination"

Step 3: Left (Upward)

Step 4: Top (Leftward)

Step 5: Left (Downward)

Step 6: Top (Leftward)

Step 7: Front (Clockwise)

Step 8: Top (Rightward)

Step 9: Front (Counter-Clockwise)

Left Side

Step 1: Find the piece

Step 2: Move it away

Explanation of the Picture (above):

We first aligned the piece where it must be, in this case the blue side is the one that we need to align.

The next step is to move the top part away from it's destination.

We now apply our algorithm (face the blue side) which is:

Note: Just decide what must be used between those patterns, they are just the same pattern, they're just mirrored.

3rd / Last Layer

The last layer is made up of 3 parts, first is we create a "cross" that match all the colors of its side. Second is we arrange the corners so that they end up in their proper position, then lastly we rotate them in the correct way they must be.

Building the "Cross"

To start building the last layer we must create a cross first (In this algorithm only).

Possible Cases:

When you finished the 2nd layer there are 4 possible outcome.

1: The cross is already there

2: There is a small inverted "L" in the patterns

3: There is a horizontal pattern

4: No pattern at all

Situation:

The cross

That is how the "cross" should look like, just disregard the other yellow pieces, you must have that pattern in order to move to the next part.

Small inverted "L":

The part highlighted in cyan is the inverted "L", it must consist of 3 piece wherein 1 of them is the center. It must also face in that way.

The red part will be your "Front" part where you will start to apply the given algorithm (above).

Note: If you did it right then you'll now have a cross.

Horizontal Line

The picture above is the "Horizontal Line", as you can see our top pieces form a horizontal line (disregard other piece/s). The red part is where you will face and start the algorithm that I posted above.
Note: If you did it right then you'll now have an "Inverted L.

No pattern at all

This is a formation that do not have any pattern (no cross, inverted L or the horizontal line). In this kind of formation you just apply the algorithm I gave above, and you're free to choose where to start.

Cross Done!

At this time your final layer must have the cross now, the next step is to arrange the cross so that the pieces are placed in their proper order.

Arranging the "Cross"

The next step to solve a rubik's cube is to arrange the cross like the picture below, as you can see all four piece of the "Cross" is aligned in their own color, but sometimes you'll only get 2 aligned parts.

The Algorithm:

Right (Upward)
Top (Leftward)
Right (Downward)
Top (Leftward)
Right (Upward)
Top (Leftward)
Top (Leftward)
Right (Downward)
Top (Leftward)

Where to start?

First rotate the top layer and see if you can have two (2) sides in their proper position. There are two possible position here, adjacent or opposite to each other.

If they are opposite to each other then you can perform the algorithm above anywhere. But if you have an adjacent side the two arranged piece must be in your back and in your right (see the video).

Note: if you did the right thing then all of those 4 sides must be in their proper order now.

Arranging all four corners

This is the 2nd to the last pattern, now that you have a perfect cross that are placed where they must be we will now arrange the corners so that they are placed in their proper order (it doesn't matter if they are solved or not).

Look at those two encircled corners, the first corner is already in its proper position, why? It is composed of Blue-Yellow-Orange and the color around it is the same (but not in the same order). The 2nd picture has a corner which is not in its correct position, Blue-Red-Yellow corner while the colors around it is Yellow-Red-Green.

The pattern

Now that you saw what we are looking for we will now proceed to the algorithm.
Note: The "in-position" corner must be in your front-right side, if there is no corner in position then you can start anywhere.

Top (Leftward)
Right (Upward)
Top (Rightward)
Left (Upward)
Top (Leftward)
Right (Downward)
Top (Rightward)
Left (Downward)

Note: Do it repeatedly until all four corners are in their proper position.

Final Step

At this time you must now have this, a cross in their proper order and all corners in their proper location. The final step will arrange those corners properly.

Note: Sometimes you'll have 4 corners , 3 corners or 2 corners to arrange.

Algorithm:

Right (Downward)

Bottom (Leftward)

Right (Upward)

Bottom (Rightward)

How to use it: First you start in the right most unsolved corner (if all corners are unsolved then choose anywhere), from that corner implement these four moves and do it repeatedly until the piece is solved.

Note: When you implement the 3rd pattern (Right [Upward]) you'll see that the piece is already in its place, but you must implement the 4th move because it will not be solved if you skip it.

After you solved one (1) corner you proceed to slide up the next corner (rightward) and do the same algorithm.

I know what you are thinking now, fun and pleasure right? Yes that's true, that is one of the benefits of having sexual intercourse, but there are other surprising benefits of sex.

A great stress reliever:

Maybe this doesn't surprise you but countless research has proven that having a regular sexual intercourse will greatly lower your blood pressure, relax your body.

Immunity booster

Study shows that having sex once or twice a week will increase your antibody called immunoglobulin A or igA, which is a good protection against cold and other infections.



Burn Calories

Thirty minutes of sex can burn up to 85 calories, but having 42 half-hour sessions can burn up to 3,570 calories, enough to lose 1 pound. So no wonder why pornstars have a slim body.

Healthy Heart

They say that having a long sex can cause stroke, that's just a folklore. Having sex can reduce the risk of fatal heart attack. Since we are burning calories it means we are also exercising our body, and we all know that exercise is good for the heart and body.

Boost self-esteem

 It was proven in a research that people who are having sex has more self-esteem than those who don't, that's why in most movie we can see that nerds usually don't have self-esteem why douchebags are full of self-esteem.

It improves intimacy

When a couple had sex their hormone oxytocin level increase, this is the so called "Love Hormones" which help us build bonds and trust to each other.

Pain Killer

As you are having a sexy time with your partner your oxytocin increases dramatically, this is our natural pain killer. That's why headache, arthritis, PMS or other kind of pain is not an excuse not to get laid.

Research proves that frequent ejaculation (by sex or masturbation) can reduce the risk of having prostate cancer in the long run, having 21 or more ejaculation monthly is proven to be healthy (not too much ofcourse) to men.

For women, doing a few pelvic floor muscle exercises known as Kegels during sex offers a couple of benefits. You will enjoy more pleasure, and you'll also strengthen the area and help to minimize the risk of incontinence later in life.

To do a basic Kegel exercise, tighten the muscles of your pelvic floor, as if you're trying to stop the flow of urine. Count to three, then release.

As I stated before, having sexual intercourse releases oxytocin, and this also promotes sleep. We all experience that after sex we feel so tired as if we really like to sleep right? that's because of oxytocin.

Having is sex is having a better circulation, and a better circulation means that more oxygen can flow through our body and to our skin which will give a brighter and healthier skin. This is the reason for the so called "after-sex-glow". More wrinkles in the bed = fewer wrinkles in the face.

Hepatitis

Hepatitis B is a liver disease caused by a virus carried in the blood, saliva, semen and other body fluids of an infected person. Like HIV, it is spread by sexual contact or sharing works to shoot drugs. It can also be passed from mother to baby around the time of delivery. Symptoms may include tiredness, poor appetite, fever, vomiting, joint pain, hives, rash, or jaundice – a yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes.

Aids

AIDS is the end result of infection with the virus HIV. HIV attacks the body’s defense system, making the body less able to fight off infections or cancers. People with HIV may have no symptoms, or may not even know that they have HIV.

Gonorrhea

Gonorrhea is caused by bacteria spread from one infected person to another during sex. It can attack the urethra in a man’s penis, the cervix in a woman’s vagina, and the rectum and throat.

Syphilis

Syphilis is caused by an organism that enters the body through the skin, the mouth, or the anus during sex. Within 10 to 90 days after infection, a sore may appear anywhere on the body including on or around the genitals, the rectum, or mouth.

Herpes

Herpes is a viral disease. It produces groups of blister­like sores on the genitals about two to 14 days after a person is exposed to the virus. Sometimes a fever is present. The sores will break open and become painful, especially if they come in contact with urine.

Chlamydia

Chlamydia produces an infection that is very similar to gonorrhea. Men may experience burning during urination and discharge from the penis. However, up to 50% of men may have no symptoms or the symptoms are so mild, they may be ignored. In women, chlamydia causes an inflammation of the cervix (cervicitis).

Non­gonococcal Urethritis (NGU)

NGU is an infection that may cause burning upon urination and discharge from the penis. It is not caused by gonorrhea, even though the symptoms are similar.

Genital Warts

Genital warts are caused by a virus, Human Papillomavirus (HPV). There are over 70 types of HPV that infect humans including 35 that infect the genitals. Most people (about 75%) with HPV have no obvious signs of infection. When present, visible warts usually develop on the genitals one to three months after exposure.

Vaginitis

Vaginitis is an inflammation of a woman’s vagina caused by tiny organisms that can be passed during sex.

The best way to protect yourself against these diseases is by using condom, but use the right kind of condom, latex condoms are the best protection that you can get, HIV virus can get through skin or natural condoms. Also, avoid using fatty substances or petroleum jelly when having sexual intercourse as this can weaken the latex. There are also condoms for women, which is better when it comes to protecting both of you. Having a single non-infected partner is the best way to avoid this.
